Retis works through and on behalf of its members to support the development of innovation and the nurturing of innovative projects within local French ecosystems. This national network brings together over 800 collaborators across nearly 100 support structures, including technopoles, public and private incubators, competitiveness clusters, local authorities, and private partners…
Atlanpole is one of the founding members of Retis and held the presidency from 1999 to 2006. Currently, Bernard Le Falher, Mission Officer at Atlanpole, serves on the Board of Directors.
The French Association of Competitiveness Clusters (AFPC) represents all the competitiveness clusters across the country, in collaboration with the State and the European Commission. It plays an active role in public innovation policy in France and Europe, and broadly supports initiatives contributing to the development of businesses and employment.
Given its role in the governance of several competitiveness clusters in the Grand Ouest region, Atlanpole is among the 12,000 members of this national network.
The AFPC is organised into three operational committees (France, Europe, and SMEs), with several members of the Atlanpole team actively involved. Jean-François Balducchi, General Delegate of Atlanpole and Executive Vice-President of Atlanpole Biotherapies, is also a member of the association’s board.
Launched in October 2021 by the President of the Republic, France 2030 supports innovation across all territories and in all its forms to improve production, quality of life, and understanding of the world.
This investment plan is endowed with 54 billion euros over 5 years to enhance industrial competitiveness and future technologies.
To support technological breakthroughs and the industrialisation of innovations in France, particularly from a European perspective, the governance of France 2030 leverages the strengths of ecosystems to monitor, accelerate, and evaluate its deployment.
Several steering committees, chaired by ministers, have been established to define deployment strategies for priority sectors (energy, digital technology, training, etc.) and to regularly assess the results, with input from experts in research and industry.
Among these experts, Jean-François Balducchi, General Delegate of Atlanpole, has been appointed as France 2030 Ambassador within the ministerial steering committee on “Innovation & Startups.”
Honoured and pleased to contribute to the steering of actions and the implementation of measures to foster and enhance the emergence, growth, and sustainable success of deeptech and industrial startups. Achieving these ambitious goals particularly relies on effective territorial innovation ecosystems that support the competitiveness of our country.
