The ecosystem

Atlanpole at the heart of networks

As an innovation hub, Atlanpole is at the centre of a vast ecosystem comprising:

  • Academic partners
Universities and engineering schools, along with their incubators, technopoles, and technology transfer and valorisation structures… Atlanpole has established operational partnerships with all these stakeholders. Why? Because it is primarily within these research structures that innovative projects are born.
  • Innovation support structures and platforms
Clusters, competitiveness clusters, Technology Transfer Acceleration Companies (SATT), and the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH DIVA)… Atlanpole has formed strong connections with these organisations dedicated to supporting innovation.
  • Innovative companies
Grouped within Atlanpole’s business network, over 500 companies, ranging from SMEs to large corporations, contribute daily to the region’s growing competitiveness. Among them, some support innovation and engage in the hub’s activities as partners.
  • Major national and international networks
Atlanpole’s ecosystem extends beyond the regional level. Atlanpole is involved in major national and worldwide networks dedicated to innovation, exchanging and sharing best practices to support businesses.

The strength of this hub lies in the complementarity of all these actors, essential to the creation and development of innovative businesses and the economic development of the region.

Catalyst for collaborations between economic actors and the academic world

Within this sometimes complex and diffuse innovation ecosystem, Atlanpole plays a leading role in:

  • Identifying and supporting innovative projects
  • Facilitating and stimulating interactions between economic actors (companies, institutions) and academic actors (research laboratories at universities and engineering schools), who are often distanced from each other
  • Driving the intersection of economic sectors to spark new innovations: an action made possible by the extensive multidisciplinary nature of Atlanpole's networks
  • Structuring the ecosystem through its concrete involvement as a member of governance, lead, co-lead, or partner with these innovation stakeholders.
